Deployment Modes

Meroxa-managed

We offer a range of different deployment modes that meet the needs and requirements of most teams.

Meroxa-managed deployments are fully network-isolated. In this scenario, the Conduit Platform is deployed within a VPC in a Meroxa fully-managed and owned cloud provider account. This deployment mode is chosen by teams that require isolation of development resources without having to manage or own the VPC or cloud provider account.

Self-hosted

For teams with even more stringent isolation needs, Meroxa offers a self-hosted deployment mode.

Self-hosted deployments are fully network-isolated. In this scenario, the Conduit Platform is deployed within a Meroxa-created VPC in a customer-managed and owned cloud provider account. It is managed and supported remotely through platform interfaces. This deployment mode is chosen by teams that require the isolation of development resources within their own self-managed cloud provider account.

Air-gapped

For teams with even more stringent isolation needs, Meroxa offers an air-gapped deployment mode.

Air-gapped deployments are fully isolated and inaccessible to the internet. In this scenario, the Conduit Platform is deployed locally into an air-gapped environment. It is managed and supported local to that environment through platform interfaces. This deployment mode is chosen by teams when development resources are inaccessible to the internet, either due to data security and compliance requirements or the nature of the data storage itself.
